So I’m a little late posting this…  In addition to my regular portraiture work, I love the chance to get out and shoot casually and creatively, especially when I can attend fun events that are exciting for me!  I look forward to attending the International Auto show as often as possible.  I don’t make it every year, but when I do, I truly enjoy the event for all the wonder and excitement that it brings. You never know what to expect and since there’s so much competition among the key players, you’re sure to see some amazing displays!  This year, there seemed to be an elevated presence of suppliers which I found interesting as I marveled at today’s engineering and technical ingenuity; while the rest of my group could have cared less.  Must be the influence from my father who spent a career as an engineer in the auto industry on the supplier side.  Nonetheless, from a purely artistic aspect, I also get a thrill just looking at the show from a design perspective, oohing and ahhing at all the intricate details, bright colors and sexy lines that make up some of the more popular models.   Although, I cannot forget the muscle cars; they are my first love and ultimately, the vehicles I enjoy lingering with, the most! After all, I am a pony girl! (#mustangsrule) At the end of the day, there really is something for everyone to see at the North American International Auto Show. If you’ve never been, you really should go.  Here’s a little recap for those of you who didn’t make it this year… #NAIAS2018
