Meet Kyla! She’s a member of the Class of 2021 and a senior at Belleville High School. Generally, she’s your typical teenage girl. She is happy, smart, loves her family and her dogs. She has a cute boyfriend and some very good friends. She’s been a member of marching band, concert band and the girls swim team. However, there are a couple of amazing things that make her very special…One: She has not succumbed to the pressures of utilizing social media (impressive for a teenage girl) and two: She’s a beekeeper. Yep! She’s got her own bees and she really enjoys watching over them. I told her that she must be a “bee whisperer” because most of the people I know hate bees and are very afraid of them. As it turns out, it’s a family hobby that’s been passed down from prior generations.
Kyla is considering veterinary school as her career, but is still undecided. She is very close to her family and has been a farm-hand for her grandparents farm her whole life! (We actually shot her senior pictures on the property-it was amazing!) She wants to be remembered by her peers as someone who was always nice and positive and she can’t wait to get out and explore the world! Congratulations, Kyla! We are wishing you a fun and enjoyable senior year!
